David Quint, Sterling Professor of English and Professor of Comparative Literature, on receiving this year’s International Virgil Prize

We are delighted to congratulate David Quint, Sterling Professor of English and Professor of Comparative Literature, on receiving this year’s International Virgil Prize (Premio Internazionale Virgilio), the highest recognition awarded annually to a distinguished scholar of Virgil. Professor Quint accepted the prize and delivered an address in Mantua, on October 15, Virgil’s birthday (and then delivered the DS lecture on Virgil’s Aeneid October 24!) Professor Quint is teaching this fall in the DS Literature course.
