In our second event of our series about parallel art forms, Jessica Peritz (Music) and Bryan Garsten (Political Science) had a conversation about Rousseau and his political interest in music. Dr. Peritz and Dr. Garsten discussed Rousseau’s own musical compositions as well as the relationship between his political philosophy and the musical world of his contemporaries.
