On Oct 21, DS students gathered to hear Susan Matheson, the Molly and Walter Bareiss Curator of Ancient Art, talk about the so-called Hoppin krater, an object that shows scenes from Aeschylus’ trilogy of plays the Oresteia. Students examined the krater closely, and Dr. Matheson’s talk was followed by a lengthy Q&A.
