Dan-el Padilla Peralta Event Poster

Twenty-five students from DS, Ethnicity, Race and Migration, and Classics came out on a rainy Sunday evening to have an informal conversation with Dan-el Padilla Peralta about his memoir: Undocumented: A Dominican Boy’s Odyssey from Homeless Shelter to the Ivy League. In town to give this year’s final DS colloquium (“Homer’s Homelessness”), Professor Padilla generously stayed on long after the pizza was gone to sign books and talk individually with students.
