This past weekend, Directed Studies and the Humanities Program welcomed their alumni back for a festival full of intense discussions of books and fundamental human questions, led by beloved Yale professors, in the intimate setting of a seminar room. The weekend included a talk from current Directed Studies students, mini-lectures by faculty on key works of literature, philosophy, history and politics, a chance to visit Yale’s wonderfully renovated museums, and time to reconnect with classmates and start new friendships.
